Meet Rosa

“Dipped in chocolate, bronzed in elegance, enameled with grace, toasted with beauty. My lord, she's a black woman.”
 ― Yosef A.A. Ben-Jochannan

A Little Bit About Me....

My name is Rosalina Joseph but most people call me Rosa. I am a freshman at Pace University majoring in Healthcare Management. I was born and for most of my life raised in Haiti. I came to America when I was 11 years old and ever since I've been living a pretty interesting life... At least, that's what I tell myself. Some people think I'm complicated but I wouldn't say that I am. What I will say though is that my favorite color is wine red and lavender and if you give me a plate of food that is not spicy to my liking, 9.5/10 I will not even consider tasting it. How will I know if it's spicy enough for my taste without trying it?  Smell it's all about smell. If I can't smell the spice from a distance then it's not spicy enough. It's the Caribbean in me. Anyways that's how my story goes, but it's only the beginning. Welcome to my blog!
